1. General information

RelayControl is a program which offers several possibilities to switch relays
connected to the serial ports of a Windows PC. The exact description of the
relay hardware setup can be found at the author's website
(http://www.b-l-w.de). This program can use the DTR or RTS line of the serial
port for the relay control.

2. System requirements

This software is supposed to be able to compile on any C++ compiler supporting
the Win32API and supported by wxWidgets. The existence of the wxWidgets
library is a necessary prerequisite, as GUI and multithreading components are
used from this library.
In addition to the C++ source code, the source package contains wxDev-C++
project and resource files. This allows users of this IDE to directly include
RelayControl 4.0 as a wxDev-C++ project.
The executable should run on any 32bit Windows, that means Windows95, NT4.0 or
any newer version. Further, there are no special hardware requirements -
except for the existence of a serial port, of course.

3. Installation

This software does not require any installation procedure.
